Maintenance
To Apply Lace-front Wigs:
Start out with clean hair. You may corn row hair to the back, or pin hair up into a flat French roll, then place a stocking cap on. Clean the skin around the outer edge of hairline all the way around with rubbing alcohol. Put lace front on from the back then gently pull forward to see where you want hair line to fall, (optional), use an eyeliner to mark where the edge of hairline falls, or make mental note. Flip or fold top half of lace front back, carefully apply a small thin line of adhesive. Remember,(a little goes a long way). Carefully fold lace front down right past adhesive and gently press down until it is Secured and in place along the forehead. Continue this process behind the ears, wait a few moments (approximately 10-15 minutes) before securing the back flap at the nape of your neck. Once the unit is secure and dry, you may use a Q-tip along with solvent remover to clean up any residue on skin. Be careful not to get it on the edge where you’ve attached it, as this will cause the lace front to begin lifting
To Remove Lace Front Wigs:
Start out by putting the hair into a high ponytail. Take the C-22 solvent remover (works best when in a spray bottle), put along the edge of the lace front. Gently massage until glue is moistened. Begin slowly and gently lifting with fingers. If there is a spot that’s not lifting it just means you need to apply a little more solvent. Repeat this all the way around the circumference of the lace front until completely removed. Once removed, use the solvent and a soft towel to gently remove any residue left on the unit.
Shampooing:
You may shampoo your lace front while wearing it. You just want to be sure you are very gentle while doing so. Focus on getting the hair strands clean, do not massage as you would your own hair. Once finished, gently towel dry and blow dry on low or just let it air dry by itself. You may then apply a Silicon Mix conditioner for about 2-3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly you can roller set or air dry.
Shampooing a lace front while not wearing:
Run lukewarm water in a sink in your bathroom, add a little shampoo as the water is running. Fill to about half full. Place lace front into water submerging it completely. Hold the unit by the front rim and dip the unit in and out. You can do this about four or five times to be sure the remove all dirt and residue from styling products, rinse with lukewarm water and gently squeeze excess water out. Apply a deep conditioner (Silicon Mix) is the most effective. Leave on for about 2 to 3 minutes, then rinse with warm water making sure to rinse all the conditioner out. Let air dry or set on a towel under a dome dryer set on warm until dry or you can easily air dry.

Liquid Gold Adhesive
LIQUID GOLD contains no water, and does not smell like ammonia or formaldehyde. This is why it works so much better, and can be used in so many more ways.Dries clear not BLACK or WHITE. LIQUID GOLD is clear, and dries clear or INVISIBLE. All other brands when dry appears white or black next to the scalp and resembles dandruff.
DO OFF TRACT INVISIBLE BONDING… Because LIQUID GOLD dries clear, it can also be used for bonding OFF THE WEFT. This procedure can not be done with any other bonding products.
LIQUID GOLD never has to be reapplied due to drying (all of the others have to be bonded quickly before it dries). In fact, the drier LIQUID GOLD gets after applied the better it will bond.
LIQUID GOLD bonds up to 5 times stronger, and lasts 5 times longer the others due to this special formula that allows you to use it in conjunction with thermos heat (an ordinary curling iron)!
Because of the unique-ness of LIQUID GOLD when compared with all of the other bonding products, mainly that the weft and the scalp hair are bonded after a short drying time (3-5 minutes) you can also do BOND FUSION without the need of expensive, sometimes dangerous equipment (see instructions below). BOND FUSING is useful for braids, extensions, duck tails or contrasting colors for streaks, tips or frosting.
How to use Liquid Gold:
DIRECTIONS FOR HAIR FUSING:
Due to the fact that Liquid Gold will bond when dry and dries clear, you can perform other services that are impossible to do with other bonding products. One is BOND FUSING. Liquid Gold Bond Fusing is faster, easier, safer and more realistic looking then the glue gun method. With the glue gun you have to stay at least 1/8 of a inch from the scalp (this is the equivalent to about three (3) weeks of new growth) The glue stick used is mostly wax and will dry hard, this may be irritating to the scalp and could melt off if a curling iron got to close.
Liquid Gold can be applied
close to the scalp, dries soft, pliable, invisible and will not melt off. Here is how it is done….Make a disk from ˝ of a business card (see diagram on instruction sheet) The purpose of the disk is to keep the bond from accidentally getting on the hair surrounding the fusing area, thus avoiding a clean up later.
Take a small section of patrons natural hair, twist it once or twice, slide it through slit in diskto the hole in the enter of disk. Place the disk as close to the scalp as possible. Apply the bond with the brush around the base of the hair close o the disk. Take the commercial hair to be fused, clip blunt at the ends. Flair the hair like a paint brush, apply the bond all around the hair close to the ends. Allow to dry for about 3-5 minutes (or until no longer wet to the touch).
Place the hair to be fused to fusing area on natural hair with your thumb and forefinger, pinch and roll the added hair around natural hair. Using a warm curling iron, place the fusing area between the shell and the barrel of the curling ron. Close lightly for about three (3) seconds, reposition the iron and repeat. Round the section off with your fingertip you are going to be fusing on many sections, you do not have to wait 3-5 minutes for each to dry before going on to the next section, to do so will take up a lot of unnecessary time to complete.
Due to the fact that Liquid Gold will still bond even when dry, you can prepare 20 to 30 sections of hair to be fused with the bond, lay them out on a table (on wax paper and then fuse them on one by one at your own pace.
OFF TRACK (NO WEFT) HAIR TO HAIR INVISIBLE BONDING:
People, who really need Hair Weaving due to thinning hair of alopecia conditions, cannot enjoy the results of hair weaving, because they do not have enough natural hair to hide the weft. Therefore, hair weaving is confined to those who just want a different look. People who really need it because of lack of natural hair to disguise the weft cannot. With the Liquid Gold revolutionary method and specially formulated system, this is no longer a problem.
DIRECTIONS:
Due to the fact that Liquid Gold dries clear and will bond when dry on both the added hair and the natural hair, you can provide the following services.
Most hair for weaving is two smaller separate tracks sewed together. Using a razor blade or shears, split the wefts apart. (This will compare to the patrons own thinning hair). Apply the bond to the hair just BELOW the weft, as close to the weft as possible (not on the weft) on BOTH SIDES of the wefted hair, then to the parted natural hair close to the scalp (not on the scalp). Lay weft on parted scalp so that the bonded area below weft will be where bond is on natural hair. Press on with the back of a styling comb, then seal lightly with a warm curling iron. Cut away weft with shears.
The parting will make a perfect channel to cut away the weft without cutting the natural hair. If done correctly, the added hair should look and feel as though it is growing from the scalp. Always apply the bond with thin even strokes. If you apply the bond to heavily, it will show through and not look natural. Applying the bond to heavily will not make it bond any stronger or longer.
HOW TO REMOVE THE LIQUID GOLD BOND:
With other bonding products, you can simply get the bonded area wet with most any oily solution, and the weft will come right off. However the glue will become pasty and gummy and cling to the natural hair. This is when breakage occurs when you attempt to get the glue out of the hair by repeated excessive combing that puts stress on the hair resulting in breakage.
Liquid Gold Bond Remover is really a BOND DISSOLVER that will dissolve the bond, not just make it wet with oil. It will not harm the hair or cause scalp discomfort.
DIRECTIONS: Wet a piece of cotton with the remover, apply to the bonded area, apply a warm curling iron to the area or about 3-5 seconds, the same way that you did when bonding. The bond will dissolve, the added hair will come loose easily and most (if not all) of the bonding glue will come off with the added hair, instead of clinging to the natural hair. If any of the bonds does remain on the natural hair, it will comb out with a fine tooth comb. You can also remove the added hair without the curling iron, but it will take about 3-4 minutes to dissolve. With the curling iron it will come off instantly.
